Since my earliest experiences as a film photographer, I have used the camera as a means to produce art, always with the idea that photography is most creative when it add to the visual spectrum rather than copying it. With the advent of digital imagery, this impressionist view of photo-art can now be created with a mixed-media approach which merges in-camera effects, printing processes, and computer imaging. The beginning image may start in the camera, but the final result is a one-of-a-kind original print that is produced individually with this variety of procedures.
