Bold Impressionism is the only way
I can describe these photos. For me they are an attempt
to recall the bold colors of Matisse and Fauvism. These photographs go beyond
my other Impressionist
images, and dig into the sub-conscience where we
all have desires to be a little more outgoing and
exciting. I hope you can feel the fun I had with these
images -- I really enjoyed creating them.
I use special techniques to introduce abstract
renderings to these photographs – some of these effects are digital enhancements and some are camera created. I find
that the colors and textures of Abstract Impressionism most accurately represent what I see and feel
when I am happy.
