LEAH'S BACKGROUND My mother was loved and admired by many friends as well as her family. She had the nickname of a Missionary of Love. But her early years were difficult. She was married and divorced three times. She raised three children by herself with very little income. And she admitted to faults that were hard for her to overcome. But she also chose to refine herself through constant prayer and effort to become more and more like the Savior. She told me once that she had one particular fault that seemed almost impossible to overcome, but she faithfully continued to pray and repent, and one day, the fault was gone. The people who knew my mom in her mature years said she was an angel on earth. And I agree. She is also an angel on the other side of the veil who has appeared to me several times when I needed special help. So I have included here some of her thoughts written in her own hand about life and her family and her posterity.
