THE OLD PORT OF LA ROCHELLE PORTRAYED IN A PAINTING We have researched many years to find the ancestry of the Amidon name of Don's great great grandmother, ROSINA AMIDON PUFFER. The line goes back to La Rochelle in France to Roger Amidon and his father Philip Amidon and his grandfather Robert Amidon. This trip was, in part, a journey to the origins of the Amidon name.
