ENHANCEMENT Today’s software can allow you to fix many photo problems such as color balance, poor exposure, slightly soft images, and poor composition. I have to admit that some of my best images were mediocre until I was able to work with them digitally. You should get some photo software like PhotoShop, and experiment with it. You will be amazed at what you can do. WORLDWIDE PHOTO ALBUM Now you can place your family photos on your website for all your relatives and friends to see -- anywhere in the world! You could, conceivably, post your family or wedding pictures and let your family and friends download them for printed photo albums. DIGITAL CAMERAS In the not too distant past, I would never have dreamed that digital cameras would give film cameras competition. Now I have several digital camera, and I am amazed at the clarity and sharpness of the images. They are really convenient, as well. If you use your images on the Internet, all you have to do is upload them from the camera to your computer, and you are ready to put them on your website. The advantage of ease of use, no-cost for film, and immediate viewing of the image makes my digital cameras much more practical. Alas, my wonderful old film cameras are gathering dust. |
